Academics, Service, and God's Word

School Office

Administrative Office

Danville Lutheran School's administrative office maintains all files and records for the school. All correspondence, payments, receipts and school business is handled through this office.

Regular office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm through the school year. Office hours will vary during non-school days.

To the families of DLS and to those visiting our site for more information, welcome! Our school is a Danville area treasure. We are blessed with a faculty that cares for more than just the academics of the school day. We share God's love with our students and their families. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming, family-friendly, and where a visitor "bumps" into visuals and reminders of our Lord and His saving grace often. I am proud to be a part of a team of teachers that rountinely go above and beyond.

My role as a principal was preceded by ten years of teaching middle school at DLS. My own children have graduated from this school and I have first-hand knowledge that the academic foundation we provide is of great help in higher education. In fact, students are often amazed at how easy the first years of high school can be when the expectations in middle school and below are high. DLS has graduated many future high school valedictorians.

I am a teaching principal. I spend most of the morning in the classroom with my favorite age goup, grades 7 & 8. The afternoons are spent doing principal activities. I have an open door policy and welcome interactions with parents and other stakeholders. Please stop by and touch base whenever you get a chance. I look forward to talking with you!

Mrs. Kim Wright

My name is Mrs. Lisa Thompson. I accepted the Administrative Assistant position in 2015. I have a Bachelor Degree from Illinois State University and my background is in Business and Marketing. I am a graduate of DLS and my husband and I have two children that are enrolled here.

I’m generally your first contact with the school and can answer many of your questions about admission, tuition, billing, making donations, fundraising, events, schedules and more! If I do not have the answer for you, I will get it.

I love being a part of a team that’s warm and caring. Interacting with the students is the best part of my day!
