Church Life

Periodically, students are asked to sing an anthem or play a musical piece at a Sunday worship service at either Trinity or Immanuel. These instances are often on a special occasion, such as a DSL Sunday (every fifth Sunday) or may be a part of the rotation between churches. Students who are members of Trinity and Immanuel, as well as nonmember students, are encouraged to participate in the choral offering with their class or fellow DLS students.

Parents are asked to help their children learn the song to be sung and arrive on time for procession or to be seated in the sanctuary. In most instances, all students older than kindergarten age will remain in the pews with teachers after the choral offering.
